By purchasing a plant from BBTB Plants, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are permitted. A current video/photo will be sent before shipment if requested. However, BBTB Plants is NOT liable for shipping delays or damages. BBTB operates by FOB seller. Meaning once the package is dropped off at the shipping courier (UPS), the title transfers to the buyer, and BBTB Plants is no longer liable for the product.
2. BBTB Plants does not assume responsibility for the health or condition of the plant following drop off at the shipping courier. Please see care tips to keep your new plant friend healthy and happy.
3. Any care instructions provided by BBTB Plants are offered as general guidance and suggestions. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure proper care and maintenance of the purchased plant.
4. BBTB Plants shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or adverse outcomes resulting from the care, handling, or condition of the plant after it has been acquired by the buyer/dropped off for shipping.
5. The buyer acknowledges that plants are living organisms and their survival and well-being are influenced by various factors beyond the control of BBTB Plants, including but not limited to environmental conditions, watering, shipping, reverting (green or full moon), and pest control.
6. In the event of the plant's death, BBTB Plants is not responsible for replacement, refund, or compensation.
7. It is the buyer's responsibility to educate themselves on the specific care requirements of the plant they are purchasing. BBTB Plants may offer tips and advice, but ultimate responsibility for the plant's health lies with the buyer.
By completing a purchase with BBTB Plants, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Care tips (additional information under care guides):
1. Light: Most rare plants prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day, as it can scorch their leaves.
2. Watering: Rare plants often have specific watering needs. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, but don't let it become bone dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while underwatering can cause stress to the plant.
3. Humidity: Many rare plants thrive in high-humidity environments. Consider placing a humidity tray or using a humidifier to increase moisture levels around the plant, especially during dry seasons or in indoor environments with low humidity.
4. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix specifically formulated for houseplants. Avoid heavy soils that retain too much moisture, as they can lead to root rot.
5. Temperature: Rare plants often have specific temperature requirements. Keep them away from drafty areas and sudden temperature fluctuations. Most prefer temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C), but check the specific requirements for your plant.
6. Fertilizing: Feed your rare plants with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or eliminate fertilization during the dormant season (fall and winter).
7. Pruning: Do not remove leaves until they have completely withered and naturally begun to detach. The plant continues to draw nutrients from aging foliage, which supports its overall health. Once a leaf has turned fully brown and dry, gently remove it by hand or use clean pruning shears to avoid damaging the plant.
8. Pests and Diseases: Keep an eye out for common pests such as thrips, aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites. Treat any sign of pests promptly. Please see the care guides for additional information.
